We have a carry in meal planned at the Fellowship Hall for today at 5:00 PM with a singing planned for 7:00 PM. The carry in meal will be an all potluck. The main dish will not be provided. All are welcome. Church cleaning is this coming week. The Single Group is invited tomorrow evening starting at 6:30 PM, food will be provided. Everyone is invited to help Tuesday through Saturday. The job list will be posted in the pie room. Thanks in advance for your help! Our Good Friday service will be held this coming Friday evening at 7:30 PM. This will be a regular service with singing starting at 7:15 PM. As a result, our normally scheduled Wednesday evening service will be canceled this week. The Apostolic Christian Village would like to welcome our church family and our community to a final open house at Aspen Square, our recently finished Assisted Living building, on Sunday, April 27 from 2 - 4 PM. We are very excited to showcase our new space and hope that it will be useful for many years to come as we work to impact our community for God's Kingdom. We appreciate the overwhelming support we've seen throughout this project and look forward to seeing you there. The Apostolic Christian LifePoints Gospel Sing is less than a month away. Join us on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at the Five Points Auditorium in Washington, IL. Doors will open at 5:30 PM for open seating and the program will begin at 6:00 PM. This year’s Gospel Sing will feature the musical talents of Claire, Joe, & Rose Dill. This sibling trio performed at our 2022 Gospel Sing, and we are excited to have them return to the stage. We are also excited to have Chase Sauder, Joel Kaisner and Aubrey Sauder leading us in singing hymns or praise and worship together this year. Babysitting services will be provided for families bringing young children, and a livestream will be available through our YouTube channel. We would love to share in this evening with each of you! The CVE Ministry in Magdalena, Mexico is in the process of seeking and hiring a new administrator to succeed current administrator Todd Stoller, as he and his family will transition off the mission field in July 2026. Meal times are as follows: Breakfast will be served about 7:30 Lunch will be served around 12:00 - 1:30 Supper will be served from 4:30 - 6:30 Snacks will be available between meals The Meat Canning Committee appreciates the wide range of ages helping with the meat canning and soup packing projects but also is responsible for providing a safe environment while properly handling food that will be distributed to those in need. Please help us in this effort by closely supervising your children during these projects so no one is in danger of being injured. After much prayer and consideration, God has directed us to use volunteer labor to replace the roof on the whole facility. It will require 11 semi loads of shingles and many hours of volunteer labor. Lord willing, the “Rooftop Revival” project will begin Sunday evening May 25. The projected duration of the project is 5-7 weeks. This project will be patterned after the Winter Rebuilding ministry.
