Fellowship Opportunities
Rotating Potluck Group
Rotating potluck groups meet four times a year at each others' homes for food and fellowship. These small group settings lend themselves to building relationships within our church family.
Carry-In Meals
Several times each year, the entire church family is invited to participate in a carry-in meal at the Fellowship Hall. Each family is invited to bring a covered dish of their choice to add to the provided meat and drink. The evening concludes with a hymn sing, Bible reading and prayer.
Invite-A-Family
In the spring and the fall, church attendees invite friends and family from across the land to join in a weekend of fellowship and worship. The weekend provides time to strengthen our relationships with fellow believers.
An evening hymn sing is usually held on the second Sunday of every month. If there is a wedding, a singing is usually held on the Saturday evening before. All are welcome to sing and enjoy a time of fellowship.
Single Group
The Single Group is comprised of single members from the Rittman, Smithville, Akron, Mansfield and Canaan churches. This group is structured to support and nurture newly converted believers, as well as seasoned members, through various Christ-centered activities.
Christmas Caroling
In December, all are invited to sing carols in surrounding communities.
